Suspended Account: What should I do?
On our hosting, there are two types of suspension:
- Temporary Suspension (24 hours) and
- Permanent Suspension (indefinite)
Both types of suspensions prevent access to your Hosting Account. This includes:
- Redirecting your site to suspended-website.com.
- Disallowing connection to FTP.
- Disabling the normal functionalities of the Control Panel.
Temporary Suspension
We have some limits which include the following:
- Daily Hits: The number of files accessed by frontend (browser) and backend (PHP) in a day
- Daily CPU: How many CPU resources your site consumed in a day
- Daily RAM (Random Access Memory): How much RAM was comsumed by your site in a day
- Daily I/O: The interaction of backend script and file storage measured in a day
- Entry Process Failures (Entry Process, EP): Number of opened and failed PHP processes on your site
If your site is temporarily suspended, you will lose access to your Hosting Account as described above for 24 hours. It may also take up to 30 minutes for your site to be fully back up after a temporary suspension.
Permanent Suspension
We closely monitor your Hosting Account files with a script executed on file upload. This script makes the files on your Hosting Account are not harmful and do not violate our Terms of Service. If you strongly believe that you have not violated our Terms of Service, or that it is a mis-screening, you may be able to have your account re-activated by following the directions below.
- Login to the Control Panel via the Client Area. Click “Create New Ticket.”
- Select the correct domain. Choose the one that you think has caused the suspension.
- Type in the Subject, such as “My Account has been suspended.”
- In the Body, clearly describe that you would like your account to be re-activated. A sample body is below.
Will you please reactivate my account?
How long is my account existent before its deletion?
By law, we are forced to keep accounts and their data for 30 to 60 days after they have been permanently suspended or manually deactivated. Under any circumstance, if you ask us to delete your Hosting Account before this period of time has ended, we will deny your request.
